Volunteer With the Senior Committee

The PTSA senior committee cannot pull off a year of events for about 700 seniors on its own. It needs parents.

Every job here is specific. You will not be asked to show up and figure it out. No vague "come help out." Just clear jobs you can say yes to.

Fall Events ✓ Complete

All three August events have run. Thank you to every parent who set up, served, handed out shirts and signs, lined up cars at Apex Nature Park before 6:00am, photographed, and stayed to clean up. Officer Perez asked for as many parents as possible at the parade lineup, and families answered.

There are no open volunteer roles right now. The next call goes out ahead of the spring events.

Volunteer roles will be posted closer to the event. Expect needs for setup, food, raffle, and cleanup.

Not ready to pick a specific event? Email the PTSA senior committee at [email protected] and say you would like to help - the committee will reach out when something fits.

What to Expect

You will get a confirmation with your role, time, and any instructions before the event
Show up at your time. Someone will tell you where to go.
Most jobs are an hour or two. You do not need to be there all day.
These events depend on parent volunteers, and even one or two hours makes a real difference.
