Volunteer With Us
We cannot pull off three events for about 700 seniors by ourselves. We need parents.
Every job here is specific. We are not going to ask you to show up and figure it out. No vague "come help out." Just clear jobs you can say yes to.
August Events - Volunteers Needed
Senior Social
Friday, August 21, 11:00am-1:00pm, AFHS Cafeteria| Role | Time | What You Will Do |

| Senior Social Setup | 9:15-10:50am | Decorate and set up for the Senior Social |
| Food Set Up and Serve | 10:45am-1:15pm | Serve food and drinks to about 700 seniors in the cafeteria |
| T-Shirt & Sign Distributors | 10:45am-1:15pm | Hand out class t-shirts (all seniors) and yard signs (ordered only), checking names off a list |
| Clean Up | 12:30-2:00pm | Help clean up the cafeteria after the Social |
| Photographer | 11:00am-1:00pm | Take photos of the Social for the class and our social media |
Chalk / Parking Spot Decorating

TBD (late May / early June 2027), AFHS Football FieldVolunteer roles will be posted closer to the event. Expect needs for setup, food, raffle, and cleanup.
How to Sign Up
Not ready to pick a specific event? Leave your info on the parent help list, mention that you would like to volunteer, and we will reach out when we need you.
Or just email [email protected] and tell us which event and role you are interested in.
What to Expect
- You will get a confirmation with your role, time, and any instructions before the event
- Show up at your time. Someone will tell you where to go.
- Most jobs are an hour or two. You do not need to be there all day.
- These events depend on parent volunteers, and even one or two hours makes a real difference.
