Support Senior Events

Senior events cost money. The PTSA gives us a budget, but it does not cover everything. That is where you come in.

A case of water, a gift card for a raffle, ten dollars to the senior fund. It all goes straight to the events.

How to Help

Donate Money

Any amount helps. Your donation goes directly to funding senior events for the Class of 2027.

You can also mail a check payable to Apex Friendship High School PTSA.

Buy a Yard Sign

Ordering a senior yard sign is one of the easiest ways to support the events. Your purchase helps fund Senior Social, Senior Sunrise, and Senior Sunset.

Donate Food

If you would like to donate food for Senior Social or snacks for Senior Sunrise, email [email protected] so we can coordinate.

Gift Cards

Gift cards are one of the most flexible things you can give. We use them throughout the year for a variety of purposes, including raffle prizes at the Senior Social, decorating awards at the chalk event, and thank-yous for the people who help us pull off these events. Any store and any amount helps.

Volunteer Your Time

See the Volunteer page for specific roles at each event. Most are 1-2 hours.

What We Need by Event

Current needs and open slots are on our donations SignUp Genius. The lists below give you the general picture for each event.

Senior Social (Aug 21)

Chalk / Parking Spot Decorating (Aug 23)

StuCo runs this event. Our committee handles sign and shirt distribution and provides the award gift cards.

Senior Parade + Sunrise (Aug 24)

A business can sponsor breakfast items for even part of the group. No full-class commitment needed. Email [email protected].

Senior Sunset (Spring 2027)

Raffle Prize Donations

We raffle off prizes at the Senior Social in August and again at Senior Sunset in the spring. Gift cards are always useful, but the prizes students get most excited about are the ones they can picture using next year. Anything on this list helps, at any price point.

Gift cards

Dorm and first-apartment items Tech and everyday Spirit and fun Bigger-ticket items (a great fit if a business wants to sponsor one) If you have a connection to a local business that would like to donate, email [email protected]. A single sponsored prize makes a real difference.

Own a Restaurant or Local Business?

If you own a restaurant or a local business and want to help, please reach out. A tray of sandwiches, a stack of gift cards, a case of water. It all helps. The AFHS PTSA is a 501(c)(3) organization, and your donation may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. We can provide a receipt for your records.

If you are a senior parent who owns a business, or you know someone who might want to pitch in, we would love to hear from you. There are some rules around school and PTSA sponsorships, so not everything is possible, but we are happy to talk through it.

Email [email protected] to get involved.
