What Is Baccalaureate?
Baccalaureate is a ceremony to honor graduating seniors before graduation. It is open to all faiths and all families. For the families who attend, it is one of the most meaningful moments of senior year.
Important: This Is Parent-Led
The PTSA sponsored baccalaureate through the Class of 2026, but they are no longer coordinating or funding it due to low attendance and rising costs.
For the Class of 2027 and beyond, baccalaureate only happens if a parent steps up to organize and fundraise for it. It is not a school event or a PTSA event. It would be a community event, led by a family who wants to keep this tradition going.

How You Can Help
Baccalaureate needs a parent to step up to organize and fundraise for it. If no one does, it will not happen for the Class of 2027.

Why This Matters
Some traditions only survive if someone decides they are worth keeping. Baccalaureate is one of those. The PTSA made the call to stop funding it, and we understand their reasons. But our Class of 2027 families have a chance to keep it going.
It does not have to be expensive. It does not have to be complicated. It just has to happen.
