Baccalaureate - Class of 2027

What Is Baccalaureate?

Baccalaureate is a ceremony to honor graduating seniors before graduation. It is open to all faiths and all families. For the families who attend, it is one of the most meaningful moments of senior year.

Important: This Is Parent-Led

The PTSA sponsored baccalaureate through the Class of 2026 and is not coordinating or funding it going forward.

For the Class of 2027 and beyond, baccalaureate only happens if parents step up to organize and fundraise for it. It is not a school event or a PTSA event. It is a community event, led by families who want to keep this tradition going.

Update: parents are stepping up. A group of parents is meeting with the PTSA to discuss the path forward for 2027.

If you would like to help, check the Class of 2027 Facebook group to connect with the parents organizing it.

What 2026 Looked Like

For reference, last year's baccalaureate was:

Why This Matters

Some traditions only survive if someone decides they are worth keeping. Baccalaureate is one of those, and Class of 2027 parents have already decided it is worth keeping.

It does not have to be expensive. It does not have to be complicated. It just has to happen.

If you want to be part of making it happen, check the Class of 2027 Facebook group.
